On top of other exciting excursions, Platinum Members will be treated
to an exclusive, per-person tour of Postojna Cave on Day 3. Crossing
the border, you’ll head to southwestern Slovenia* to this large karst
cave system known as Queen of the Underground World. Hop on a
sightseeing train that’ll take you throughout the system and show you
stunning stalactites and stalagmites formed millions of years ago.
Afterward, enjoy a guided walk around Postonja Cave Park.

• 1 p.m.: Depart from the hotel and transfer to the border of Slovenia (a drive of about 20 minutes).
• Continue through the countryside to Postojna (a drive of about 75 minutes).
• Arrive at Postonja Cave Park.
• Take a short break before your adventure in the cave begins.
• 3 p.m.: Enter the cave.
• Train ride through the cave followed by guided walk (a total tour time of about 90 minutes).
• After a short break, transfer back to Opatija.
• 7 p.m.: Arrive at the hotel.

• 8:30 a.m.: Depart from Opatija and head off along the coastal road to Pula (a drive of about 105 minutes).
• 10:15 a.m.: Arrive in Pula and see the outside of historic sites such as Pula Arena (Amphitheater), Porta Gemina (Twin Gates), Porta Herculanea (Gate of Hercules), Temple of Augustus, Arch of the Sergii and more.
• Enjoy leisure time to stroll around.
• 11:30 a.m.: Transfer to Rovinj (a drive of about 45 minutes).
• 12:15 p.m.: Arrive in Rovinj for sightseeing.
• Spend some time looking around on your own or take a break for lunch (at your own expense).
• 2:45 p.m.: Transfer to Porec (a drive of about 45 minutes).
• 3:30 p.m.: Arrive in Porec and enjoy time on your own to explore its many cultural monuments, historic buildings and Byzantine art, including mosaics.
• 5 p.m.: Transfer back to Opatija (a drive of about 105 minutes).

• 8:30 a.m.: Depart from Opatija and travel along the coast, then cross the Krk bridge to Krk town.
• 10:10 a.m.: Enjoy leisure time seeing highlights of Krk at your own pace.
• 11:45 a.m.: Transfer to Punat (a drive of about 15 minutes).
• Noon: Board a boat and head to Kosljun island (a boat ride of about 7 minutes).
• See the sights on Kosljun, including a museum, church and exhibitions, then spend time on your own exploring the island at your own pace.
• 1:30 p.m.: Return by boat to Punat, then transfer to Vrbnik (a drive of about 30 minutes).
• 2:15 p.m.: Explore a wine cellar with welcome drinks, a presentation on wine making in the region and wine tasting with prosciutto, cheese, bread and 3 types of wine and brandy.
• 3:45 p.m.: Transfer back to Opatija (a drive of about 105 minutes).
• 5 p.m.: Arrive at the hotel.
6:30-8:30 p.m.: Farewell buffet dinner at Restaurant Camellia with 1 complimentary drink per person (your choice of red or white wine, beer, mineral water or juice.
9-10 p.m.: Indulge in a chocolate tasting experience with 3 deluxe chocolates per person and complimentary homemade brandy at Hotel Continental (a walk of about 5 minutes).
